Health & Safety
Health & safety in the workshop usually means to most people
using a face mask to keep out the dust, or opening a window to get
rid of the dust, this is OK all the time the mask is being worn,
when you take off the mask you are breathing dust, this dust can
hang around in the air for hours. Opening the window will not free
the workplace of dust that floats in the air, in cold weather all
you will do is lose any heat that you built up at a cost.
The complete Microclene range take in dirty air and filter it to
return clean air to the workplace with no loss of expensive heated
air.
All dust is dangerous to your health, timber dust is very dangerous,
it can cause cancer of the nasal passages, of the throat or lungs.
The most dangerous dust is usually smaller than 10 microns in size,
the very best eyesight could just about see a 10 micron speck in
a bright light, the Microclene air filters will efficiently take
out dust down to 0.4 micron.
The Microclene ambient air filters remove the fine floating dust
making the workshop a far more pleasant and safer place to be in.
No matter what type of dust, wood, metal, chemical, feather, grain,
fabric or paper dust the Microclene filter will remove it.
