Leading Filter Technologies

The filter medium utilized in Microclene’s complete range are provided by BTR Environmental, one of the worlds leading suppliers of polyester and Vokes continual glass filament filters. The synthetic filter medium used by Microclene has been specially developed for air filtration and consists of 100% polyester fibres, which are thermally bonded for optimum filtration efficiency and to avoid fibre shredding.

The Microclene activated charcoal filter pads are made to a military specification and are designed to adsorb fumes and noxious gases onto its surface. Microclene filters must be run at low speed when using the activated charcoal filter pads to ensure sufficient ‘dwell’ time on the pads surface.
